FAQ

What to Expect

When you walk through the doors of City Church, you like many others will experience two things: a feeling of family, one that says “You are home,” coupled with the anointed Presence of the Holy Spirit–nothing flaky or merely emotional, but the real tangible presence of God to meet the deepest needs of your life: spiritual, mental, emotional, financial, whatever! We are following in the steps of historic Christianity in our beliefs which are lived out daily by our church leaders and congregants. If God has sent you to join us, get planted and don’t let anything move you (Psalm 1)–you’ll be glad you did!

City Church Style

As a New Orleans-based church, we reflect the style of our city: a gumbo-like mixture of personality and tastes, yet always exuberant and full of life! We trace our spiritual roots back to the great moves of God in our city and nation. Come to City Church and expect to come into God’s presence where healing and miracles abide, then to be founded on the bedrock of a “No-holds-barred” teaching that will give you the eternal foundation to build your life and that of your family’s upon. The sole reason for every ministry, meeting or outreach at City Church is winning souls, and the vision of Reach, Belong, Grow, and Give every believer into the harvest field is the cornerstone and hallmark of our church. Don’t expect to be idle in this house– there is a ministry and a place for everyone!
